Description
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to own and improve vacuum interrupter and molded insulation products for overhead reclosers and padmounted distribution switchgear. The role covers product design and specification data, supplier and quality collaboration, reliability analysis, design-for-six-sigma and Lean improvements, digital simulation, functional and reliability testing, and product validation. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least three years of engineering experience; electrical, mechanical, power, or metallurgical engineering experience in high- or medium-voltage switchgear, vacuum, or insulation is preferred. The expected annual salary is $86,000–$126,000, and Eaton does not offer immigration sponsorship.
