Ascent Resources is hiring a Senior Production Engineer for its Oklahoma City corporate headquarters. The role reports to the Production Engineering Manager and focuses on conventional production engineering work including well surveillance and optimization, engineering studies, feasibility and economics analysis, resolving complex production issues, asset management planning, workover design and execution, production equipment design and troubleshooting, cost estimating and budgeting, and coordination with partners, service companies, and regulators. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5–12 years of oil and gas exploration and production experience, with strong knowledge of unconventional asset development, artificial lift, LOE reduction, and excellent communication and professionalism.
