Description
Canva is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead its Embedded team within Production Engineering. The role manages senior software engineers working on production reliability, data safety, software-change safety, platform reliability and observability, resilience tooling, and other critical engineering engagements. The manager will set technical direction, build trust with engineering leaders, coach senior engineers, develop technical leaders, and help establish reusable engineering practices. The role requires experience leading senior engineers, production software environments, cross-organizational initiatives, and complex technical trade-offs, along with strong computer science, systems, reliability, and cloud knowledge.
