Description
Ecosystem is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead energy-efficiency projects for existing buildings, from audits and design through construction and performance validation. The role owns project and design management, reviews MEP drawings, analyzes energy bills and building systems, develops energy conservation measures and financial models, selects equipment, supports construction, and monitors energy savings. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or physics engineering and 5–10 years of design or mechanical systems experience, ideally in heavy mechanical and HVAC projects. The position offers an annual base salary of approximately $100,000–$150,000, with on-site work expectations depending on the team.
