HDR is hiring a Senior Project Development Engineer for its Michigan-based Power Generation team. The role leads multidisciplinary development teams and provides technical and contractual engineering support for conceptual design and owner's engineer projects serving utility, independent power producer, industrial, institutional, and municipal clients. Responsibilities include developing technical and commercial deliverables, coordinating disciplines, managing project status, schedules, budgets, and client interactions, and supporting power-generation system specifications across conventional, combined heat and power, distributed generation, reciprocating engine, and renewable projects. The role requires at least 10 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering, a recognized professional engineering license, extensive power-market project execution experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and power-sector design software, strong communication and leadership skills, and less than 10% travel.
