Areté is hiring a Sr. Project Engineer to support the Maritime Airborne Systems Sector at its Healdsburg, California office. The role bridges design engineering, production, and program management across the full defense program lifecycle, including technical execution, integrated master scheduling, cost and risk management, gate reviews, proposals, and customer briefings. It requires experience leading engineering teams, DoD acquisition processes, production builds, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance; a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or 10 years of relevant project engineering experience is preferred. The position is full-time, exempt, and non-supervisory, with a salary range of $195,000 to $215,000 and medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
