Description

Boeing is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their Commercial Modifications Engineering IPT in Long Beach, California. The role involves overseeing interior modification projects on various Boeing airplane platforms, acting as a technical leader for project proposals and integrated project plans, and driving resolution of complex technical issues. The engineer will also spearhead technical issue resolution, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to future commercial modifications capabilities.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years’ experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
5+ years’ experience supporting cross functional teams
Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years' experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Technical Lead on Aerospace Design Vehicles
Aircraft Interior commodity experience (Interior commodities are items such as overhead stowage bins, lavatories, galleys, seats, PSU, sidewalls, air grilles, flight deck seats, etc.).
Previous experience working in an aircraft modification environment or with Supplemental Type Certifications (STC)
Has good understanding of CFR Title 14 FAA Part 25 regulations
Experience working with external suppliers
Ability to travel domestic & international up to 10% of the time
Certification/ Compliance and Regulatory process understanding
