FST Technical is hiring a Senior Project Engineer in New York City to lead commissioning and professional-services delivery for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related building systems. The role includes installation validation, field observations, functional and witness testing, reports, submittal reviews, design-document evaluation, budget and billable-hour management, Cx meeting leadership, technical issue resolution, contract-scope analysis, staff scheduling, mentoring, safety training, client relationship expansion, and travel among regional job sites. Candidates need relevant engineering, construction, maintenance, or controls education/experience, substantial commissioning or related experience, building-equipment interconnectivity expertise, construction-document knowledge, communication and problem-solving abilities, Microsoft Office proficiency, and physical ability to work on job sites.
