Sonoco is hiring an Injection Molding Engineer to qualify new and refurbished injection-molding tools and equipment, develop manufacturing standards, support process certification, troubleshoot molds, and implement continuous-improvement projects in a plastics manufacturing environment. The role requires hands-on experience with injection molding, plastics manufacturing, tooling, process controls, mechanical equipment, and quality-analysis tools, and is based onsite at the Forest City, North Carolina facility. The annual base salary is $122,320 to $137,610, with a quarterly target bonus of 7.5% of base salary.
