Description
ABB is hiring a remote Project Engineer to serve as a design authority for data center electrical engineering. The role leads project design and deliverables, coordinates with customers, contractors, suppliers, manufacturing, procurement, and testing teams, and ensures compliance with electrical standards and cybersecurity requirements. Responsibilities include designing and calculating integrated power distribution systems, reviewing drawings and protection schemes, managing change orders, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to process improvements. The position is based in Houston, Texas; Lake Mary, Florida; or Mebane, North Carolina, requires more than five years of relevant electrical power and project engineering experience, and includes up to 30% overnight travel.
