The role develops and maintains cost models for electronics, PCBAs, RF circuits, and wiring harnesses; performs teardown and competitive benchmarking; collaborates with global costing, design, product management, and sourcing teams; identifies design-to-cost and cost-saving opportunities; and leads complex projects while maintaining knowledge repositories and reusable estimation tools.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics Engineering
Required Previous Experiences: 6 - 10 years of relevant professional experience in electronics cost modeling, manufacturing process analysis, or teardown benchmarking
Preferred Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of electronic and electrical wiring harness components, manufacturing processes, cables, connectors, and terminals
Strong proficiency in aPriori and DFMA cost estimation tools
Hands-on experience with PLM software, including Windchill
Understanding of electronic components, wire harness construction, materials, and working principles
Working knowledge of electronic circuits, RF circuits, and microwave theory
Basic understanding of communication theory and digital signal processing
Proficiency with Tableau, Data Studio, and Advanced Excel
Project management capability to lead multiple complex projects concurrently
Strong conceptual, analytical, and financial analysis skills
Excellent business communication and executive presentation skills
Ability to collaborate across cross-functional, multicultural, and global engineering teams
