Description
Genentech is hiring a Senior Project Engineer for Process Automation Systems to lead the planning, design, procurement, implementation, qualification, and commissioning of DCS, PLC/SCADA, MES, and data historian systems across pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse operations. The role owns automation architecture, integration, supplier coordination, regulatory compliance, GMP, FDA, EMA, and cybersecurity requirements, and supports digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives. It requires a bachelor’s degree in automation engineering, mechatronics, or a related discipline, at least five years of experience, significant travel, and is an on-site position in Oceanside with a stated salary range of $99,820 to $185,380.
