Sound Transit is hiring a senior electrical engineer to support the Capital Delivery Department’s Maintenance Development Program. The role focuses on traction electrification systems, including AC utility feeds, medium-voltage distribution, DC traction substations, overhead contact systems, automated monitoring and control, building electrical systems, UPS systems, power protection, safety and grounding analyses, and SCADA integration. The engineer will support design, installation, commissioning, system enhancements, contractor coordination, and engineering economic analysis, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring office work at least three days per week.
