Description

AECOM is hiring a Senior Project Manager for its Water Business Line in the New England area to lead complex, multi-discipline wastewater treatment plant evaluation and design projects through planning, permitting, and construction. The role manages client portfolios, mentors staff, makes risk decisions, delivers client revenues, leads business development and proposal efforts, and participates in water organizations. Candidates need a civil or environmental engineering degree, 8 years of related wastewater experience, Registered Professional Engineer status, and willingness to travel within New England; 12 years of experience and New England licensure are preferred. The position does not offer visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 8 years of related experience in wastewater treatment, pumping, and/or collection systems
Experience with wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection systems, and client/consultant relations
Preferred Qualifications: 12 years of related experience in wastewater consulting and engineering management
New England Professional Engineer licensure and ability to obtain Massachusetts and Connecticut licenses within 9 months
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Participation in water community activities
Proven ability to lead business development activities
Leadership, mentoring, and diverse-team experience
