Description

Dacon is hiring a Senior Scheduler to lead project controls and schedule management for complex electrical construction, substation, medium- and high-voltage power system, and EPC projects. The role owns master schedules, establishes enterprise scheduling standards, leads risk and delay analysis, defends schedule-based change orders and claims, coordinates subcontractor schedules, and mentors scheduling staff. It is based in the Deer Park, Texas office and reports to the Project Controls Manager.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience of 4 or more years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Previous Experiences: 7 years of progressive project scheduling experience in electrical construction, substation construction, power systems, or EPC project environments, including large or complex projects.
Experience preparing and defending Time Impact Analyses, delay analyses, and schedule-based change order or claims documentation.
Experience developing scheduling standards, procedures, or templates and providing guidance or mentorship to other scheduling staff.
Experience supporting preconstruction, estimating, or bid schedule development in an EPC environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Project
Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
