Citi is hiring a Senior Python Application Developer to design, architect, and deliver horizontally scalable, highly available, and performant Python applications for high-throughput data computation, quantitative calculations, and market-risk projects. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, including architecture, SDLC governance, project planning, budgeting, code quality, and stakeholder collaboration across Risk, Analytics, Quant, Front Office, DevOps, and Production Support teams. Candidates need 8+ years of Python application development experience, strong distributed-systems and DevOps expertise, quantitative and risk-domain knowledge, and familiarity with financial or banking systems.
