Avenga is hiring a Senior Python Engineer in Bulgaria for a fixed-term project in the banking domain, with the possibility of extension to regular permanent employment. The role focuses on developing and maintaining AI-powered backend services with Python and FastAPI, building REST APIs and integrations, using Azure AI Services and Azure AI Foundry, containerizing applications with Docker and OpenShift, and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines. The engineer will also collaborate with React and Next.js front-end developers, troubleshoot backend services, and work with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI-enabled solutions.
