Planet is hiring a full-time, in-office Quality Engineer for its San Francisco manufacturing facility. The role partners with the Quality Engineer Lead to implement and audit quality management systems, develop inspection procedures, support audits and KPI reporting, resolve production non-conformances, lead root-cause and PFMEA activities, and mentor quality technicians. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least six years of quality engineering, quality assurance, or manufacturing operations experience, and two years of hands-on quality technician or inspection engineer experience. The position offers a San Francisco base salary of $144,500 to $180,600 USD plus potential incentives and benefits.
