Description

Squiz is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to enhance the maturity, health, and efficiency of their Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by leveraging existing platform APIs like GitLab, AWS, Jira, Confluence, Cloudflare, and Dynatrace. This individual contributor role focuses on designing and implementing observability mechanisms to provide real-time visibility into team efficiency, developer health, and software quality indicators. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Engineering leadership and act as a key enabler across Product Engineering.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: systems level with modern developer infrastructure, git-based workflows (GitLab), AWS cloud services, and production telemetry tools (Dynatrace, Cloudflare)
hands-on ability to query, combine, and process data from tool APIs (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, AWS, Cursor) to build robust reporting and automation pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications: holistic understanding of quality engineering, testing strategies, risk analysis, and software development methodologies, going beyond traditional test automation script writing.
passion for telemetry and metrics, with experience translating complex SDLC data into actionable insights for engineering leadership and management.
