Q-Block Computing is hiring a Senior Quantum Engineer to lead the design, integration, qualification, productization, and reliability of quantum hardware systems from prototype through field-deployed capability. The role spans optical, photonic, electronic, control, and mechanical subsystems and includes performance analysis, failure-mode investigation, fabrication and calibration procedures, design reviews, standards, and mentorship. It requires a relevant engineering PhD and at least five years of professional experience in quantum hardware or related deep-tech hardware, with hands-on expertise in precision hardware and productization or reliability engineering. The position is full-time and on-site in Ottawa, with a salary of $120,000–$160,000 CAD per year and extended health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
