Description
AWS is hiring a Colocation Data Center Design Engineer to assess and select colocation facilities, review vendor infrastructure designs, perform risk analysis and availability calculations, investigate root-cause failures, ensure regulatory compliance, and validate critical electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, controls, and structural systems. The role requires an engineering degree or 10 years of commensurate experience, at least 5 years of data center or carrier-class telecommunications infrastructure experience, and bilingual French-English ability, with up to 50% domestic and international travel.
