XPENG is hiring a Humanoid Robotics Research Scientist to research, implement, and evaluate deep-learning methods for legged locomotion and whole-body control in humanoid robots. The role develops end-to-end motion controllers using reinforcement learning and imitation learning, designs experiments to evaluate controllers and address sim-to-real challenges, and integrates advances in robotics research. Candidates need an advanced degree in a relevant field, Python and software design skills, experience with PyTorch and reinforcement or imitation learning algorithms, and preferably C++ and legged robot hardware experience. The full-time position offers a base salary of $174,720 to $295,680 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
