ALSO is hiring a Senior Reliability Engineer to establish reliability targets and metrics, develop accelerated life and environmental testing procedures, analyze test data, guide engineering teams on failure modes and countermeasures, monitor field performance, and lead FMEAs and design verification activities across electric mobility vehicles. The role requires an engineering degree, at least two years of reliability engineering experience, knowledge of PCBA, energy storage, drive units, and chassis reliability, familiarity with reliability software and failure-analysis techniques, and experience with testing instrumentation. The position is onsite in Silicon Valley, with limited potential for one remote day per week after ramping, and offers $190,000–$222,500 annually plus health, dental, vision, retirement, and family benefits.
