The role owns quantitative reliability models, FMEA/FMECA, fault trees, derating, test coverage, on-orbit data analysis, reliability standards, design reviews, and mentorship, with a path into people management. It is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the San Jose, California office, and requires 8+ years of complex high-reliability hardware engineering experience, including 5+ years in reliability engineering. The salary range is $216,000-$236,000 plus equity and benefits.
