Description
The Department of English Language Education at the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is hiring a Senior Research Assistant for the SCOLAR project on family language policy among underprivileged families in Hong Kong in the digitalized era. The appointee will support the research team and perform academic duties assigned by the Principal Investigator, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in sociolinguistics-related projects and quantitative and qualitative paper drafting. The role is based in Tai Po, runs for around 6 months, requires a recognized master’s degree in Applied Linguistics or a related discipline plus one year of post-master’s full-time experience, or a doctorate, and includes leave and outpatient medical benefits.
