Ai2 is hiring a Senior Research Scientist to join its Open Ecosystem team and train fully open foundation models focused on accelerating scientific discovery. The role involves developing training pipelines, curating high-quality training data, and exploring agentic and multimodal foundation-model research. Candidates should have a PhD-level foundation in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field, along with significant experience building and training modern foundation models. The position is based in Seattle, with a base salary of $170,000 to $270,000 and bonus plans, plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid leave, and other benefits.
