Amazon is hiring a Senior RF Communications Systems Engineer to define, integrate, test, and debug advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems for next-generation Amazon Leo satellites. The role involves 3GPP-based satellite-to-ground testing, RF and IF link-budget analysis, wireless synchronization, FPGA and lab debugging, and cross-functional collaboration with RF, ASIC, software, communications, and testbed teams. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least seven years of L1/L2 or beamforming experience, and experience with RF lab equipment, wireless system integration, and FPGA verification. The position is available in Austin, Texas, and Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of $137,300 to $185,700 annually.
