The First Line Risk Senior Manager will support Citizens Bank’s Treasury and Wholesale Payments division by identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology, compliance, operational, and fraud risks across ACH, Real Time Payments, and Wire systems. The role leads risk governance, change-control assessments, control monitoring, issue remediation, vendor oversight, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance activities, while partnering with product, technology, compliance, audit, and second-line risk teams. It requires 6–8 years of risk, audit, or compliance experience, a bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of payment regulations and GRC platforms; the position is based in Boston, Westwood, or Johnston and pays $117,000–$153,000 annually plus a discretionary bonus.
