Volkert is hiring a Senior Roadway Engineer for its Mid Atlantic Region in Springfield, Virginia. The role leads or assists with roadway project design, estimates, specifications, schedules, reports, and coordination with subconsultants and clients, while applying transportation and civil design standards and quality controls. Applicants need a BS in Civil Engineering, 8–15+ years of relevant roadway design experience, DOT design and project delivery skills, proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer, and a valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report.
