Intuitive is hiring a Robotics Control Engineer to develop control and safety algorithms for new daVinci Surgical System instruments and accessories. The role focuses on teleoperated motion and force fidelity, mechanism characterization, algorithm tuning, software implementation, risk analysis, regulatory documentation, and manufacturing test fixtures. Candidates need a PhD plus at least three years of robotics-related experience or a master’s degree plus six years of experience, along with C/C++, MATLAB, servo-control, robot kinematics, and electro-mechanical systems expertise.
