Description
Charge Robotics is hiring a Senior Robotics Integration Engineer to work full-stack on hardware and software integration for its robotic solar-farm-building factory. The role involves designing, testing, documenting, and iterating mechatronic systems; integrating sensors, actuators, control systems, motors, hydraulic systems, and robot arms; and optimizing interfaces across mechanical, electrical, and software components for reliable factory and field deployments. The engineer should have mechatronics, robotics integration, or automation engineering experience, programming skills including Python, electrical and mechanical drawing literacy, and experience instrumenting and debugging complex electromechanical systems. The position is based in San Leandro, California, with 4–5 days per week in the office and approximately 10% travel to solar construction sites.
