Description
The Robotics Middleware Engineer will evaluate, prototype, and build a next-generation communication infrastructure for robotics, focusing on high-throughput shared-memory messaging on NVIDIA Jetson-class hardware. The role leads a Zenoh build-vs-adopt evaluation, optimizes zero-copy and shared-memory data paths, benchmarks latency and throughput, and supports low-latency integration of vision sensors, IMUs, and ML inference pipelines. It is a contract position based in Massachusetts requiring onsite commuting to the Wilmington area at least three days per week, with no visa sponsorship.
