Description
Bonsai Robotics is hiring a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to design and develop autonomous software for agricultural and other complex network- and GPS-denied environments. The role owns mission-critical systems for navigation, task execution, and state management across multiple vehicle form factors, using production C++, Python, and Rust in a ROS2 environment. Responsibilities include building tested software, reviewing code and design documentation, debugging hardware-software issues, using data to guide development, and contributing to safety, reliability, and extensibility. The position requires at least four years of relevant applied robotics and software engineering experience, a related degree, production-robot experience, and familiarity with C++, ROS2, testing, CI/CD, Linux, and cross-boundary debugging.
