Description
Parallel Systems is hiring a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to develop perception and sensor-fusion software for fully autonomous, battery-electric rail vehicles. The role involves building real-time software that ingests and fuses lidar, camera, IMU, and GPS data; implementing geometry-based computer vision, filtering, tracking, and state-estimation algorithms; performing sensor calibration; validating systems in simulation and the field; and collaborating with ML, firmware, embedded, and systems engineering teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least four years of robotics or perception software experience, and proficiency in Rust and C/C++.
