Description

Simbe Robotics is hiring a Senior Python & C++ Engineer to work with its robot software engineering team on the Tally autonomous robot software stack. The role covers navigation, perception, autonomous behaviors, hardware drivers, cloud integration, infrastructure management, software development, DevOps and CI/CD, ROS integration, and production software packaging and deployment. Candidates should have 5–10 years of industry experience, strong C++ and Python skills, ROS knowledge, Linux experience, and familiarity with source control and modern software development practices.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5–10 years of industry experience
Experience writing ROS nodes
Experience packaging and deploying software in production environments

Bash and Python shell scripting
Experience with databases, especially Redis
Familiarity with Docker containers
