Astro Mechanica is hiring a Senior Rotordynamics Engineer to lead rotordynamic analysis and mechanical packaging for terrestrial and aviation turbomachinery. The role covers critical-speed prediction, stability and imbalance analysis, bearing and thermal-lubrication trade studies, rotordynamic test campaigns, computational modeling with StarCCM+ and AxSTREAM, propulsion-cycle analysis, GD&T, and manufacturing coordination. Candidates need at least five years of turbomachinery design experience, rotordynamic modeling expertise, CFD and 1D meanline experience, test instrumentation knowledge, CAD and scripting skills, and strong cross-functional communication.
