Woven by Toyota is hiring a senior individual-contributor Safety Engineer to translate safety goals into verifiable software designs for AD/ADAS systems. The role covers safety requirement allocation, safety mechanisms, verification strategies, safety-case evidence, risk analyses, change-impact reviews, and collaboration with safety, systems, V&V, machine-learning, and cybersecurity teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline, at least five years of safety-critical automotive or aerospace systems experience, production ECU ownership, ISO 26262 and SOTIF knowledge, and embedded software and automotive interface skills.
