Description

Mimecast is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive innovation and empower clients by bringing their full Human Risk Management platform story to life. This role involves providing technical pre-sales support, offering technical advice, conducting product demonstrations, preparing RFP responses, and collaborating with sales teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and sales skills, with a focus on cybersecurity domains like email security and insider risk management.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience in a technical and/or sales engineering role, ideally also with enterprise accounts.
Some experience in project management and working with technology partners is helpful.
Preferred Qualifications: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to command the attention of senior technical audiences
Familiarity with networking and security technologies and services
Hands-on technical knowledge across relevant cybersecurity domains (email security, insider risk/DLP, security awareness, endpoint, identity)
Understanding of spam, viruses and email security and Internet based threats
Knowledge of email archiving solutions and archiving business drivers
An understanding of email management and security/archiving solutions such as Forcepoint, Proofpoint, Barracuda, Symantec Enterprise Vault etc
Experience with the design, management and maintenance of typical collaboration platforms including Microsoft 365
Experience in consultative selling of complex services
Experience with SaaS based solutions
Flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills and disciplines
Ideally based in Milan
