ELEKS is hiring a Senior Scala Developer in Chicago, Illinois to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native microservices using Scala, Java, Akka, AWS, Slick, SQL, and CI/CD. The role requires 6–10 years of commercial Scala development experience, strong backend and distributed-systems expertise, and experience building data streaming solutions, while also involving production troubleshooting, architecture decisions, and collaboration with engineering teams.
