Description

STEMCELL Technologies is hiring a Senior Scientist, Process Development (Downstream) to lead downstream process development and technology transfer for protein production intended for cGMP manufacturing of ancillary materials. The role develops project plans, provides technical guidance to internal teams and CDMOs, collaborates with R&D, quality, and regulatory functions, authors technical and regulatory documentation, and supports manufacturing campaigns, nonconformance investigations, and CAPA identification.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Doctoral degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or master's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, in downstream process development and/or MSAT for antibody or protein products intended for cGMP manufacture.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of relevant experience with a doctoral degree or at least 8 years with a master's degree in downstream process development and/or MSAT for antibody/protein products.
Experience transferring processes to manufacturing facilities and CDMOs.
Experience leading and managing cross-functional projects.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing processes for ancillary materials.
Hands-on cGMP downstream process development experience.
Experience with critical quality attributes and critical process parameters.
Experience supporting nonconformance investigations and CAPA identification.
