Description
GenScript is hiring a Senior Scientist to lead front-end product strategy and planning for life science research reagents. The role defines the company’s product portfolio and roadmaps for the next 3–5 years by identifying unmet customer needs, emerging technologies, and high-barrier opportunities, while evaluating scientific feasibility, market potential, competitive differentiation, intellectual property, and business economics. The scientist will collaborate with R&D, marketing, business development, commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality and regulatory teams, and will develop data-driven recommendations for executive investment decisions. A PhD is preferred, with a master’s degree and exceptional industry experience also considered; relevant life science experience and exposure to early discovery, platform development, CMC, or biopharma customers are advantageous.
