Description
The Senior Search Engineer will support commercetools’ Search Foundation Team by building a modern, integrated search experience and search API for product discovery. The role involves developing search functionality in a Scala-based PaaS ecommerce backend, creating ElasticSearch and MongoDB libraries, maintaining scalable infrastructure-as-code on Kubernetes with Terraform, testing software components, and participating in worldwide production on-call rotations. The position is hybrid, requiring three days per week in Munich, Berlin, London, or Valencia, and requires at least five years of JVM software engineering experience.
