Description
The Senior Search Engineer will support commercetools’ Search Foundation Team by building a modern, integrated search experience and search API for product discovery. The role involves developing Scala backend functionality, search libraries using ElasticSearch and MongoDB, scalable infrastructure-as-code on Kubernetes with Terraform, and multi-tenant architecture. Responsibilities include testing, collaboration with Product Management and DevOps, and participation in worldwide on-call rotations. The position is hybrid, requiring three days per week in Munich, Berlin, London, or Valencia.
