Description

Payabl is hiring a Lead SecOps Engineer to independently design, build, and operate security operations for a regulated payments group. The role owns SIEM architecture and operations, attack-surface monitoring, AI-assisted detection triage, vulnerability management, incident response, AWS security hardening and monitoring, security automation, tooling evaluations, and security consultancy for Engineering, IT, and DevOps teams. The position is based in Limassol, Cyprus, or remotely from Poland or Portugal, reporting to the Head of Information Security.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of security operations or security engineering experience, preferably in financial services or a formally regulated incident-reporting environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on Kubernetes security experience, including admission controllers, runtime detection, and cluster hardening.
Experience with detection-as-code, Sigma, version-controlled detection rules, and CI for detections.
CCSP, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent security certification.
Ability to independently own a security domain from prioritization through delivery and communication.
