Description

CoLab is hiring a Senior Security Analyst to join its Blue Team and help build and operate an enterprise security program. The role focuses on investigating security incidents, improving AWS monitoring and detection, responding to threats, conducting post-incident reviews, managing vulnerabilities and access, supporting FedRAMP and other compliance programs, and communicating risks to technical and business stakeholders. It is a full-time permanent position that can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in security operations, security engineering, or a similar cybersecurity role
Strong experience with security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, and forensic investigations
Experience deploying, managing, and automating security solutions in cloud environments
Experience working with macOS, Linux, and Windows environments
Experience developing and maintaining security procedures and operational processes
Experience supporting FedRAMP certification, including ConMon activities
Experience supporting compliance initiatives such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or other relevant frameworks
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with threat modeling programs
Experience building security automation workflows
Experience assessing third-party vendors and SaaS platforms
Security certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GSEC, Security+, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
