DoorDash is hiring a Security Data Platform Engineer to own multi-terabyte-per-day security telemetry pipelines across AWS and GCP. The role covers log ingestion, routing, enrichment, schema management, cost and volume control, query performance, production services, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, reliability, dashboards, alerting, IAM governance, and AI-driven automation. It requires 5+ years of high-volume pipeline experience and 4+ years of production software development, with strong AWS/GCP, SQL, data modeling, and platform leadership experience. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Cyber Defense in the United States, includes an on-call rotation, and offers a base salary of $159,800–$235,000 USD plus equity and benefits.
