Description
Spendesk is hiring a first Senior Security Engineer to build and own its security engineering function. The role covers vulnerability and incident management, SIEM operations, identity and access management, secure development, security tooling, audits, penetration testing, remediation, and engineering education. It is an individual-contributor track focused on technical depth, with responsibilities including mentoring an Associate Security Engineer and shaping security practices across engineering squads. The role requires hands-on security experience across at least three areas, strong scripting and automation skills, modern web architecture knowledge, and experience mentoring engineers.
