Later is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen its company-wide security posture through application, cloud, infrastructure, secure development, vulnerability management, compliance, and security operations work. The role partners with engineering, infrastructure, product, IT, legal, people, finance, and other business teams to embed security into workflows, automate SOC 2 controls, improve observability and incident response, and remediate security gaps. Candidates should have 5–7+ years of security or software engineering experience, strong production software and automation skills, and familiarity with cloud security, SIEM/SOAR, incident response, infrastructure-as-code security, and SOC 2 frameworks. The role is available in Boston, Vancouver, and Vancouver, with select fully remote candidates considered, and offers $125,000–$205,000 USD for US candidates or $110,000–$160,000 CAD for Canadian candidates.
