Description
Northwood is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to design and implement security architectures for new phased-array ground station infrastructure and space communication protocols. The role covers security controls across distributed systems, Kubernetes, RF protocols, enterprise SIEM, incident response, threat hunting, automated compliance pipelines, and documentation for FedRAMP and NIST 800-171 requirements. Candidates need at least five years of production infrastructure-as-code experience, the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance, knowledge of government cloud and CI/CD environments, proficiency in a general-purpose language, and experience implementing defensive controls in non-traditional environments.
