Description
Shakepay is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to protect its infrastructure, products, customer data, and AI platform. The role covers application, product, infrastructure, enterprise, and observability security; threat modeling; security automation with AI tools and agents; incident response; governance and compliance; and mentoring engineers. Candidates need at least five years of security engineering, software engineering, or related technical experience, strong security-domain expertise, cloud experience, and hands-on incident-response experience. The position is remote-friendly across Canada, with optional access to Montreal and Toronto offices, and offers a base salary of 170,000–230,000 CAD plus equity and benefits.
